Dear Metas,
After the v2.3.7 update, we added the Feedback Hot Charts section to the Once Human Feedback Platform, listing recent popular requests from the community. After logging in to the Feedback Platform, you can like the feedback you support and dislike any feedback you disagree with. The Feedback Hot Charts will display the likes and dislikes of each piece of feedback in real time, and our development team will reference it when deciding on future development priorities. (Feedback Platform link:Once Human Feedback Platform)
With each version update, the Feedback Hot Charts will also be updated, after which we will announce our optimization plans and progress for issues that charted during the previous cycle. Your suggestions are important to us, and we hope the Feedback Hot Charts will help us communicate and share our development plans and progress more openly.
Today is the release day of the 10th Meta Hotline! As of September 28, the Feedback Hot Charts standings are as follows:
Thank you all for taking part. Every piece of feedback, every like, and every dislike helps the dev team better understand which needs matter most from the player perspective. Below are the follow-up details for this cycle's top suggestions.
[Top Suggestion] Allow firing while riding a vehicle
[Optimization Progress] Accepted. The related feature is now in planning and development. Passengers being unable to fire on Two-Wheelers does limit combat coordination during team travel. We agree with this optimization direction and have significantly moved up its schedule. Once the feature is complete, we will synchronize the details with Metas via announcements as soon as possible.
[Top Suggestion] Visualize breeding cooldown for animals
[Optimization Progress] A related feature is already available in-game. Currently, after summoning an animal, you can check its Breeding Cooldown in the Detail Panel. We have also noticed that Metas would like to check the cooldown directly from the backpack. This has been approved and is being significantly advanced. Future progress will be synchronized via announcements in a timely manner.
[Top Suggestion] Add a Mod Guarantee lock
[Optimization Progress] Under optimization. Timing will be announced once the plan is confirmed.
We fully understand that Metas want greater flexibility in Mod Guarantee acquisition and want to reduce the uncertainty of obtaining Mods. In the previous design stage, we also planned to add interactive controls on the interface to determine whether the guarantee is triggered.
However, after multiple rounds of discussion and review, we believe that adding interface controls further increases the game's complexity, makes Mod Guarantee harder to understand, and is highly prone to misoperation (forgetting to turn it on or off can both lead to losses). Therefore, after careful evaluation, we decided not to adopt this "Patch"-style fix, but instead address the root cause of the difficulty in numerical progression. The overall optimization approach is:
1. Reduce ineffective numerical components and Mod types to lower progression difficulty and the understanding threshold;
2. Narrow the numerical gap between players while making the final challenge more challenging, so that progression has objectives to pursue and validate.
The optimization of Mod Guarantee acquisition will be carried out together with the overall numerical progression optimization. Once the plan is finalized, we will announce the optimization plan and timeline as soon as possible.
[Top Suggestion] Add vibration feedback to the controller
[Optimization Progress] Accepted. The related feature is already in the plan and being worked on. We will add vibration feedback to the controller, and will gradually cover various scenarios such as weapons, melee, and vehicle operations, making controller gameplay more immersive. More details will be continuously synchronized with everyone during development.
[Top Suggestion] Recycling tool can be used directly from the backpack
[Optimization Progress] Accepted. The related feature is expected to go live in October. At that time, Metas will no longer need to switch operations and can use the recycling tool directly from the backpack, simplifying the recycling process. The exact launch time is subject to the version update announcement.
[Top Suggestion] Increase the weekly Starchrom cap
[Optimization Progress] Under evaluation. The current weekly Starchrom obtain cap is set based on the current evolve pacing and overall balance. We understand that some Metas want to accumulate faster, and will address this alongside the overall stat growth optimization to make the growth pacing more reasonable. We will also continue to pay attention to everyone's feedback in this regard. Thank you, Metas, for your understanding and support.
That's all for this Meta Hotline. Your feedback, including your likes and dislikes, is the foundation of Once Human's continued development. We will continue to monitor the Feedback Platform and listen closely to your views. Please keep sharing your honest opinions via the Feedback Platform. Your suggestion may make the next Hot Charts!
